Static Hex is a hand-inked puzzle-platformer about a paint gun that rewrites the rules of the world, one color at a time. Bounce, speed, freeze, poison, pull, and four more, each color is a different law of physics, and you're the one deciding where it applies.

The catch

Paint two matching colors onto anything that touches, a box, an enemy, a wall, and they fuse. There's no undo except repainting a different color entirely. Every puzzle in Static Hex is built around that one rule: color is a tool, but matching color is a commitment.

What you can do with a paint gun

  • Bounce and Speed: build launch pads and sprint lanes out of thin air
  • Pull (black): drag boxes into place, or paint a ceiling and cling to the underside of the world
  • Freeze, Slippery, Poison, and more: turn the ground itself into the obstacle
  • Merge: fuse matching colors together to build platforms, towers, and shortcuts that didn't exist a second ago

Play as Arte

No mouth, all kaomoji, and a paint gun with more opinions about physics than they do. Smudge tags along a few steps behind, retracing your last few seconds, for better or worse.
